Salve, da tempo ormai combatto con un problema al mio portatile.
Ho un Sony Vaio con sistema operativo Xp, e mi capita sempre più spesso che improvvisamente il pc si riavvia improvvisamente e mi appare una schermata blu.
Girando qua e la per i forum mi sono informato senza tuttavia trovare soluzioni.
L'unica cosa che ho fatto è usare il comando verifier su regedit e mi è apparsa (quando si è riavviato per l' ennesima volta il pc)la schermata blu con la seguente scritta:
Sostituire il Driver difettoso attualmente sullo stack del kernel con una versione funzionante....
Vorrei capire come faccio ad individuare il driver non funzionante e successivamente come rimuoverlo.

Ho cercato su google che da istruzioni, ma non sono capace di trovare una soluzione...l' unica cosa che ho capito è che è la scheda wireless a crearmi questi problemi(almeno credo )

Ok, effettivamente è un problema del driver della scheda wireless del tuo portatile. Probabilmente qualche installazione recente l'ha mandato in tilt (o, peggio, la scheda wireless è andata).

Che modello di Sony VAIO hai?

In alternativa, puoi scaricare questo driver pack relativo alle schede wireless. Ma solo come ultima risorsa.

Non ti spaventare, è solo un'ipotesi.

Comunque, ho cercato sul sito Sony e ho trovato solo questa pagina con i drivers per Windows Vista.

Di drivers per la scheda wireless specifici Windows XP non ne ho trovati...

Sarebbe decisamente preferibile poter scaricare una versione creata ad hoc da Sony per quel modello.

Comunque, in mancanza di tale possibilità, vediamo se riusciamo a combinare qualcosa:

• Scarica A.zip
  
• Scompattalo in una cartella
  
• Clicca con il tasto destro sul file netathw.inf
  
• Si apre il menù contestuale
  
• Clicca sulla voce Installa
  
• Segui le eventuali indicazioni che compariranno
  
• Riavvia il pc

E speriamo che funzioni...

Purtroppo non posso provare, perché non ho quel tipo di scheda su qualche pc.

Il problema non si presenta più.non ci posso credere
Non voglio cantare vittoria, ma di solito durante il giorno si riavviava 5 o 6 volte soprattutto quando usavo cam o aprivo video su youtube..
Oggi nada.

Praticamente, hai reinstallato i driver della scheda wireless.

Aiutoooo...mi si è ripresentato lo stesso problema di nuovo!!!! Com'è possibile???

Più di prima addirittura..

Ho risolto definitivamente seguendo questa procedura:
Pannello di controllo (visualizzazione classica) -> Sistema -> Hardware -> Gestione periferiche e nell'elenco delle periferiche ho cercato la scheda di rete incriminata. Ho fatto doppio clic, si è aperta una finestra, ho scelto la scheda Driver e poi la voce Aggiorna Driver.

A quel punto mi ha chiesto se volevo usare Windows Update per cercare il driver, ed ho selezionato Non ora e e sono andato avanti
Nella finestra successiva ho scelto Installa da un elenco o percorso specifico.

Col tasto Sfoglia ho scelto la cartella dove ho decompresso i driver scaricati in precedenza trovati sul sito http://www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-download.php?chipset=39&system=1

Ho cliccato su avanti e il driver alternativo si è installato, ho riavviato il pc e adesso il problema è scomparso finalmente
