Da quello che ho letto in rete dovrebbe essere compatibile, ma non ne sono certo al 100% 
hai provato a chiedere delucidazioni al tuo rivenditore? |

non sa niente dove l'ho acquistato,cmq non ci riesco mannaggia a li pescetti,non riesco proprio ad impostare sul menù del gioco la possibilità di scegliere di usare il joypad...aiuto aiuto aiuto!!!!!! |

era proprio la cosa che ti avrei chiesto dopo, cioé se nel menù delle opzioni c'è la possibilità di impostare i comandi del joypad anziché quelli da tastiera...
temo che se nel menù questa opzione non c'è, non si possa fare nulla
edit: ho trovato in rete un'immagine del menù delle opzioni/controlli, è riferito alla prima versione di carmageddon, non alla 3: tdr 2000...
sembra che il joystick sia compatibile, ma non il joypad 
i controller supportati sono (traducendo dall'inglese- spero di non sbagliare il nome...) :
- joystick anlogico con 2 assi e 2 bottoni
- volante analogico...

come puoi vedere, nella pagina che ho linkato c'è anche una guida alla configurazione del joystick...
se ti interessa l'ho tradotta in italiano (sempre che fra le 2 versioni ci sia somiglianza di menù e impostazioni )... |

ma cosa cambia il joystick dal joypad?io ho un joypad e la versione del gioco che ho installato è la 2000,il menu' non è italiano e nn mi sembra ci sia la possibilità di impostare il joystick,peccato perchè è molto simpatico come gioco,ci saranno in rete informazioni e schermate come qst riferite alla versione 2000 del gioco?grazie ancora! |

forse ho trovato...
potresti usare Xpadder... ti basta assegnare ai tasti del joypad i valori dei tasti della tastiera 
fra le caratteristiche c'è scritto
