ciao a tutti! dunque ragazzi ho installato sul mio pc fedora core 6 e vorrei installarci un modem usb aethra starmodem! ho gia i driver, si tratta degli eagle usb! quando pero do il comando ./configure da root mi da l'errore xke mi dice ke nn sono riesce a trovare i sorgenti del kernel 
così ho scaricato i sorgenti e anche la rpm-build e li ho installati..pero lo stesso mi da sempre lo stesso errore!

NB: il pc naturalmente nn è collegato ad internet e quindi tutti i comandi "yum install....." nn funzionano! |

Lantis, dovresti prima installare il pacchetto con i sorgenti del kernel, ho trovato questa guida, prova a vedere se ti può essere utile.
EDIT Ti manca un "-" davanti a ivh...
rpm -ivh...
In generale quando un comando ti ritorna "Usage: ecc..." con una breve guida sulle opzioni, significa che hai sbagliato qualcosa nella sintassi.

This will have the standard kernel.org kernel WITH Fedora patches and updates. The ARCH architecture will match the output of uname -m, usually i686. You may use noarch for the target= option if you wish.
2. vanilla/
This will have the standard kernel.org kernel ONLY (no patches or updates).
NOTE: Users of x86_64 architecture may experience the following error:

Che directory ci sono sotto /usr/src?
Spesso un simlink /usr/src/linux che punti alla vera directory dei sorgenti (che magari ha un percorso più complesso) è un buon aiuto. |

sisi ho messo anche quello ed è andato tutto ok xke nn mi ha dato nessun errore per quell'operazione..per quando sn andato a dare il comando ./configure per i driver mi da sempre lo stesso errore... |
